It's already 10. I'm having my meeting and I don't know how I got stuck in this traffic... ugh, this Bangalore traffic.
I'm feeling frustrated, and suddenly my eyes went to the metro bridge. Dude, I can go by metro!
I said this to Rishi, my brother:
"Bhaisa, this is not a good idea.
It will be difficult, and what if someone sees you?
It will create problems with your security."
Hriday: "Nothing is more important than this project, and you know how hard we all worked for this. My employees gave their best, and I won't let it go like this. No, I'll wear this mask and glasses with a cap so no one will be able to recognize me."
After this, Hriday wore the stuff and took his jacket and office bag. He reached the metro station...
It's been a while, like more than 4 years after joining the business. Nothing was like before. Now everyone knows me as one of the most successful businessmen in India. It feels good that my hard work makes noise with its success.
"Oye mr dekh ke chalo na"
(Hey mister, watch where you're going!)
Suddenly, my thoughts break, and I saw a girl with hazel eyes wearing a white chikankari kurti. Her bindi is making her face more cute. Her face is oval-shaped; she's just a cutie. Her cheeks are red, and as per my observation, she didn't use any blush. She's looking like a cute squirrel Hayeee, main mar java! (Oh my, I could die!) I really want to pull her cheeks and say, "My squirrel!"
Oh mister, suddenly my thoughts break, and I said, "Yes."
"If you can't see properly, then don't wear glasses. Remove the glasses so you can see properly."
"Ji" (Yes)
"Haan ji"
"Now excuse me."
"How can I excuse you?"
And she went and sat near an old woman and started talking as if she's her best friend.
I never observed someone this much, and now I'm stalking that girl. Hriday, don't be a creep.
I reached the office, but her thoughts never left my mind.
Siya:
I was in such a rush. I have to reach school as soon as possible. From today, my kids are having exams, and as a teacher, it's my responsibility to make everything proper so that they won't struggle much in the exam.
"Mumma, I'm getting late!"
Mumma: "How many times should I tell you, bacha? You should get up early and stop watching your Nepali drama."
I stomped my foot and said, "Mummaaaaaa, it's K-drama... K-DRAMA!"
"Okay, okay, now don't irritate me. Saranghae," (Mumma said and went)
My family should go for daily soaps. I'm telling you, they are going to get the best acting award.
"Hello bandariya"
This brother of mine, he's also one irritating fellow, but he's my favorite, hahaha.
"Hello namune, aur bata aaj college nahi h kya tereko? Oh acha, girlfriend nahi aari hogi college.
(Hello weirdo, tell me, don't you have college today? Oh right, your girlfriend must not be coming to college.)
"Didi, don't shout. Papa will hear us."
Kya baat ho raha hain?
(What's going on?)
"Nothing, Papa. Bas didi bol rahi thi ki aaj unko school se aane main late hoga."
(Nothing, Papa. Didi was just saying that she'll be late coming from school today.)
Papa: "Why, bacha?"
Siya: "Papa, after school, I'm going to an NGO."
Papa: "Okay, bacha."
Mumma: "Beta, take this lunch with you, and yes, go carefully."
"Okay, Mumma."
I was in a rush going to the metro station, and there I met a man. Seriously, dude, he was wearing a mask, glasses, and cap. It's like he's on some secret mission or going to kidnap someone.
Siya, don't think much, I said to myself.
And still, he's standing there. "Oye mr, excuse me," I said, and there I saw my friend Mrs. Shetty.
What an incredible lady she is... my favorite. Now she's joined my school as a vice principal, but I knew her before. Once we met near a flower shop, and from there our friendship started blooming. Now I like her company; the way she cares about me makes me feel like she's a motherly figure. I started talking to her, and then we reached school. Now I'm in the exam hall waiting for kids to give their answer sheets.
